This was my first stay at the Barbary Coast and I had a pretty good time. The room was cheap and you pretty much get what you pay for. My friends and I had a great time watching the fountains of the Bellagio across the street from our balcony. Until we read the little sign printed on the window warning would-be-fountain-watchers to stay inside the room unless you could fly.
The casino is on the smaller side, but they have all the usual games including blackjack, craps, roulette, slots, etc. The limits are generally lower than the larger surrounding casinos, which is nice.
Food was average. Service was fine.
Definately not the Ritz, but if you want a great location right in the heart of the Strip at a good price, it's hard to beat the Coast. |
